Carved south, away from the populated centers of the village, this coarse
valley extends between the waste processing center and the rest of
civilization.  The ground is so covered with blackened grime, trash, and
scrap that it's difficult to tell where the waste pile ends and the earth
begins.  This valley continues to the north and southwest, serving as a
mixed, mushy pathway between two gnarled, uninteresting areas of town.  
A combination fly-cockroach flutters here, its carapace jaundiced and pale.
    You sense a hidden life form in the area.
A set of sparkling teeth hangs in the mouth of a plump rat.
