Globes suspended from the ceiling reflect lights upon the glass of the
containers.  Earthy scents from herb mixtures kept in ornate crocks fill the
room blocking out the antiseptic smells from the next rooms.  A small brass
scale ready to weigh purchases sits on a table along with small squares of
parchment in which herbs are packaged for travel.
