Torches line the wide tunnel providing ample light for those rushing
along as they journey to other parts of the city.  Echoes of footsteps and
raised voices drift from distant parts of the tunnel.  Though well
maintained, this tunnel is very well traveled and has a path worn down its
center by the multitudes of travelers that have made their way here.  Dark
stains on the floor suggest that something has occured here to an unwary
soul.  Now it is clear why guards are to be found nearby.
