This wide tunnel appears to be very well used by the residents of Vir. 
Since it circles the majority of the caverns and caves that make up the
city, it has been well maintained and serves as the main thoroughfare within
the city.  Torches line the walls providing ample light for those rushing
along the tunnel as they go about their business.  A low hum drones from the
northwest, the sound echoing along the base of the tunnel.  
A drooling orcish slave wanders about picking his newly grown scabs.
A slimy mass oozes along scavenging the roads for bits of debris left by travelers.
