The path opens up to a flat canyon here.  The wind continues to swirl
around you, unabated by the large boulders filling the area.  You struggle
to maintain your balance on the icy rock-strewn ground.  Sheer cliffs of
granite surround you to the east and west.  To the north the path continues
toward a huge towering peak within the mountain range.  
A huge white bear stalks you through the snow.
A large boulder crashes down from above and shatters directly behind you!
A polar bear begins attacking you!
A polar bear is in terrible condition.
