This small forecastle is only a sapling's height above the main deck and
maybe built a little sturdier than the main deck.  There are some heavy
wooden rails and wooden eyelets built into the deck, probably for mounting
some kind of catapult or other siege engine for when this mighty pirate ship
attacks its victims.  A short staircase leads down to the main deck, while
the forecastle extends to the east, where you can see the foremast rising
from its center.
