You find yourself standing precariously on a sturdy oak beam jutting out
over the prow of the ship.  Ropes and pulleys, expertly tied to large wooden
cleats on the beam, lead up towards the foremast and help control the
massive lateen sails that are currently furled.  If you look down at the
prow of the ship, you can see a huge wooden masthead, carved in the form of
an avenging angel.
