To the north you spot a beautiful marble stairway that leads up into the
upper level of the castle.  Far to the south you spot the gilded main palace
doors.  So much light bounces around, reflected in the facets of the
imbedded tourmalines in the floor, walls and ceilings it appears to be
brilliant daylight indoors.
