The most blatant display of wealth can be found in this hallway.  Gilded
ormolu clocks, tacky tapestries with gold and scarlet fringe and other such
tawdry, gaudy luxuries lay strewn along the hallway.  The decorator of this
hall obviously has little if any taste.
