every other sort of action that normally goes on in a kitchen this size. 
Chef's apprentices run about wildly trying to get roast pig curry, or the
ingredients to the bat wing stew that is going to be served today.  The
master chef himself stands in the middle of the room supervising everything
ensuring that his assistants make no mistakes.
