The swaying of the ship, as it bounces against the waves, seems to lessen
here at the middle.  The mid-deck of the Magencia seems featureless compared
to the rest of the ship.  The wooden planks that make up the deck are old
and obviously not tended to very often.  You wonder what kind of a Captain
would let his sailors sit around and drink all day while the ship slowly
falls apart.  A rusted hatch is also here, leading down to below deck.
