The walls around you are made of a shimmering black substance which is
smooth and cool under your hand.  There are curious looking globes of light
set in recesses at regular intervals near the ceiling.  You can hear the
noises of children and animals from nearby, there are also other less
appealing sounds that send shivers up your spine.
