You are in a small broom closet that is directly west of the clockworks
of this tower.  The closet is dusty and appears to be mostly unused, judging
from the amount of noise the door makes when it is moved on its hinges.  The
clicks and whirls of the clockworks are magnified to a great extent in here,
almost making each tick of the clock sound like the beating of a massive
heart.  There is a door to the east that opens onto the clockworks.
