You are in a hallway made of bluish-tinged gray stone, roughly worked. 
Cobwebs drape the room from floor to ceiling and from wall to wall.  You
cringe with revulsion as you sweep them aside so that you may pass.  As you
brush the cobwebs aside, you notice sinister looking frescoes of animals,
strange signs, and glyphs, adorning burial vaults set into the walls.  A
thick layer of dust covers the floor.  The hallway continues to the west and
a large marble arch is to the east.  
A groaning female spirit wails in misery.
