Western Branch of the Atrium - N - (-------------------------------------------------) W <---(M)---> E - - - In the middle of the atrium is an old market woman. She is a haggard old woman bringing chickens and a basket of fruits and vegetables to sell in the marketplace. Her face is wrinkled, her body is bent with age, and her spirit is broken by a life time of poverty. You wonder how a rich kingdom like this would have residents in such despair. Curious adventurers might investigate this further. A archway leads into the triclinium building to your north, from here you can see that it is contains a number of cubicles, a study, dining room, and kitchen. One of the many watchtowers is to your south, which afford the emperors a sense of security in the most insecure of times. The atrium branch continues to your east and west. A small pool of blood has been spilt here. The sliced off tail of a tiny sparrow is lying here. A slave woman trudges along, carrying her heavy basket of goods. A sneaky slave trader is here looking for potential buyers.
