The interplay of shadowy voids with gleaming marble floors creates an
impression of translucency, and elimination of the structures heavy,
projecting stone pendentive to your west.  Conservative statues have been
fixed strategically upon the nave arcade, illustrating a number of unique
individuals and events.  The continuing nave arcade extends north and west.
