An extended version of the atrium stretches to the east and west, open to
the sky and paved with a long, esthetically attractive mosaic. You rest for
a moment to appreciate the intricate system of decoration on the exterior of
the building to your north. The normal brick facade has been altered to fit
a clerestory window, but apparently has not had the glass installed yet.
The window is directly across from the high palace walls to the south. The
paved atrium path extends east and west.
