  An extended version of the atrium stretches to the east, open to the sky
and paved with a long, esthetically attractive mosaic.  The design under you
is of the denizens of the sea, variously positioned so that regardless of
the direction from which one walks into the room the figures appear right
side up.  To your south are the thick palace walls, towering a few feet
above you.  The path continues to the north and west from here.
