Main Basilica Hallway - N - (-------------------------------------------------) W <---(M)---> E - S - Standing on its marble-cut floor, the hallway of the basilica can be seen in all its glory. Six tall columns support the roof, and a large dome can be seen sixty feet above you, roughly 30 feet in diameter. Busy residents conduct legal and political issues here, the essential backbone of government takes place within these walls. You somehow doubt that anything of great importance would be left to the general public, most likely those decisions are left to the tetrarchs. To the south you can see a colossal statue of Diocletian, an everlasting iconic image of the emperor to always remind the citizens of their leader.
