The room to your south creates a mystery out of space, surface, light,
and dark.  High and narrow, it forces your gaze to rise and revolve.  The
overall spatial effect is overwhelmingly beautiful, and you stop for a
minute and wonder why, if the northern apse is the main focus of the church,
would the southern apse be so wonderfully decorated.  A sense of curiosity
inks itself.  To your north is the central room, and the forechoir continues
to your west and east.
