A card table and some lurking people identify the back room of the Salty
Shark Tavern.  Cards and poker chips are lying on a table here, and the
players are all gone save the winner, who sits here grinning at his luck. 
His pockets are bulging with gold coins, and stacks of coins stand before
him on the table, he's either very luck or a very good cheat.  It appears
many unwary travelers have found their luck isn't so good against this
player.
