While this path through the forest is easy enough to follow, it isn't
kept up very well at all.  The trail is littered with dead leaves and
branches, and large roots protrude from the ground to trip inattentive
passersby.  You can continue along the path to the north and south, or
wander off into the woods to the west or the east.
