The last things you should understand about combat are forming and using
the flee command.  By forming with other players, you can kill creatures
that would be too difficult for you to kill on your own.  If you do find
yourself fighting a losing battle, you can run away by typing "flee".  You
should also be sure to set your "wimpy", so that when you reach a certain
number of hit points you will automatically attempt to flee from combat. 
Typing "help wimpy" will give you information on this setting.  'Tis far
better to flee and fight another day than it is to die!
