This is a tunnel leading into the mountain where the Ghering Caverns are
located.  It is very cool and damp in here and would be dark if not for the
glow provided by the lichen growing abundantly on the walls.  You hear the
sound of scurrying feet ahead of you.  To the south is the exit from the
caverns, while to the north are the caverns themselves.  
     A partially-burned torch has been dropped in the dust.
