You are in a sloping tunnel leading down into the Ghering Caverns.  Even
though there is no sunlight here, you can see easily due to the lichen that
grows abundantly on the cavern walls.  The floor here is a light-gray stone
and is extremely slippery.  The walls are a combination of earth and stone. 
The tunnel leads out of the mountain to the south, and leads deeper into the
caverns to the north.
