This is a dead-end room.  You can see some sort of slide coming down from
the room above, but there is no way to go back up it.  The walls and floor
are composed of stone.  When you look closely, you can see the scratch marks
of claws on the stone.  Occasionally, you can hear the sound of animals
moving around down here.  The only light is that provided by your torch.  To
the south, you see the only exit to this room.
