This is a dark room composed of stone in the Ghering Caverns.  The only
light is that provided by your torch.  You can hear the sound of animals or
other living beings moving about down here.  Also, when you look closely,
you see signs of their passing.  There is a small hole cut into the ceiling
that should enable you to leave this level of the caverns.  To the south and
north are more rooms waiting to be explored.
