This room is empty aside from a small desk and chair, which sit against
the northern wall; beside it on the floor sits a trashcan and a small
container.  The window in the wall to the north looks directly out onto the
barnyard, not the most enticing view, but at least there is some natural
light.  Behind the door to the west muffled voices and laughter can be
heard.  The warmth of the fireplace to the east radiates into the room.  
     A small wooden desk stands against the northern wall.

A stout halfling prevents unwelcomed guests from entering the card room.
