This intersection is significant in the outpost's history, being the
point at which the first of the human explorers reached the faerie plane. 
They dug a well, in hopes of finding a suitable source of water.  Ithrillis
must have felt merciful that day, because water was found, in large supply. 
In short order, the outpost sprang up around this central well.  It now
stands as a sort of monument to human adaptability.  The door south of here
leads into a headquarters of sorts, where the business of running the
outpost is conducted.  
     A stone well sits in the center of the square, providing cool water for all.
A man covered in glowing blue tattoos and oily overalls kneels before the pylon, tinkering.
