A poker table sits amid a sea of drunken onlookers.  The dealer, a fat,
sweaty man, quickly tosses cards across the table to his opponents.  The
crowd takes on a hushed sense of anticipation as each player lays down their
cards, and there are crows of triumph, howls of defeat, and muttered curses
as chips are moved across the table.  On a good night, almost the entire
capacity of the tavern will group around this single poker table, sitting
with bated breath as cards are shown and chips change hands.
