A massive carved pillar holds the bronze dome of the temple in place. 
The pillar appears to be wood, but is as hard as stone.  The grey surface of
the pillar is a marked contrast to the pulsating crimson stone in the center
of the columns.  A small glowing bridge arcs over what appears to be an
endless drop to a pulsing crimson platform atop a circular stone tower.
