You are walking along a walkway made of interlocking sandstone, worn and
patched in several places.  The stones crumble slightly under your feet as
blocks of the retreat's northern wall rise directly in front of you to the
north.  The walkway continues around the eastern corner of the hotel, and
back along west to the portico.  A tall, spiked iron fence blocks your
passage south.
