A long mahogany bar blocks entrance to the employee-only south exit.  The
strong scent of salt blows in through the open windows, which in turn allow
smoke and the stale smell of men to exit.  As far as you can see, the south
passage behind the bar dead ends shortly after it breaks into two passages. 
     The long bar, full of empty seats, covers the south wall.
