It is difficult to envisage just what half of this equipment is used for.
In any case, it moves in perfect synchronisation; valves open, pistons pop,
conveyor belts chug along, all powered by miners dutifully stoking huge
fires.  From the furnaces spring brick towers that channel filthy smog up
into the air.  It is an impressive enterprise indeed; you can spot multiple
ores being processed efficiently for export.
