The modernity of this area makes it difficult to envisage that this is,
in fact, the centre of a mining towne.  It is hardly what you expected from
a small towne in the middle of the wilderness.  Happy patrons of the tavern
southwest of the square tumble out and stumble towards to the sparkling
sushi bar located just across the way.  There seems to be a flurry of
activity located around the hospital complex to the northwest; medical staff
dash hurriedly back and forth, leaving down the various pathways towards the
mines.  There is obviously something going on and it stands apart from the
merriment.  
     A new, oval fountain is situated in the middle of Takhtin's commercial area.
