Just beyond the resilient hot springs that lay to the south juts forth a
seashore of roving glaciers.  The white landscape blindingly reflects the
light of the heavens almost obscuring the southern lights as they dance
iridescently across the horizon.  A large lake has been formed by a
battlement of broken ice, a barrier that proves far too dangerous to cross
to the open ocean.
