A placid pool of warm water bubbles forth from an underground reservoir. 
The pond brings a sense of serenity to bathers as its water seems to wash
their sins away.  High above the semicircular tarn is a bleached white totem
pole whose carved faces grimace downward.  The village is centered around
this sacred spot as the people who dwell here believe it to be a spring of
divine origin.
