A rough trial runs around an avalanche of boulders from the volcano's
peak.  It leads downward toward a stream that pools about the mouth of a
fissure in the mountain's side.  The climb is rough and many scratches may
be seen as those who passed here before clawed at the rock to stabilize
their descent.  The rocky corral rises high and encircles the pond forming
an impassable fortress around it.
