The hallway leading to the upperclass suites is made entirely of highly
polished oak.  The finest features of the passage are the magnificently
carved crown molding that lines the walls.  An odd disruption in the perfect
veneer of the floor can be seen in the form of ten long gouges in two sets
of five, leading from each of the stately rooms.  Upon closer examination,
fragments of fingernails and blood have embedded themselves tightly into the
grooves.
