An elegant stairwell leads up towards the quarter deck from here.  Finely
polished mahogany railings and crushed velvet carpet define this fine piece
of craftmanship.  It would be amazing to see this level of work in a mansion
and absolutely stunning to see it on board a warship.  There are cabins
south of here but no windows are visible.
