A most dignified desk dominates this room, its roll top-left open,
exposing various documents and quills and inkwells, all in a state of
hastily-abandoned use.  A pair of boots lay on the floor on their side and
with deep scuffmarks on the floor around them.  A small number of items
reside on the floor near the door all broken or dented as though they had
been thrown in a desperate rage or fear.  Apart from this small disruption,
the room is most elegant in its design and pristine state.
