Gun ports line the walls with enormous cannons pointing silently outward
and high stacks of iron spheres stand ready at their sides.  Long, slender
ignition rods lean against the ropes that hold these munitions fast.  An icy
breeze blows through carrying with it the smell of gunpowder and oil.  The
room appears to be frozen in a moment just before battle, a moment which
will never come.
