An array of heavy weapons point cast iron barrels toward the small open
hatches on the outer hull of the ship.  A thin veil of ice stretches across
the ropes that secure the massive armament to the floor and walls.  A heavy
web of netting hugs two tall stacks of cannonballs that set on each side of
the cannons keeping them from rolling about in rough weather.  The air is
crisp and freezes one's every breath making periodic cloud bursts that
alternate between nose and mouth.  Not a soul remains at their post
