The walls here have been smoothed down and cleaned to provide a romantic
environment.  Mermen swim by holding bottles of beer or glasses of other
alcoholic beverages.  Tables have been set up around the outside walls for
customers to sit down and rest their fins, while the center has been left
clear for dancing.  All the drinks are probably watered down so maybe one or
two wont hurt.  
An uncommonly stocky merman belts out a lively polka on a tubba.
