The end of this smoothly paved road drops sharply as its south half has
simply fallen away down the edge of a steep cliff.  Far below the city's
center can be seen in all of its glory.  The very south end of town harbors
the main entrance to the palace and an enormous pearl sets in the center of
an amphitheater whose tiers are built over the establishments of the market
street just below.  Fish swim about lazily over and through the city as do
the merfolk that comprise the majority of this town's population.
