Before you is a vast garden of some of the most putrid and most vile
plant life ever imaginable.  Taken from several other-worldly dimensions for
his collection, the previous owner of Castle Shadows used arcane magic to
transport these beings into this world.  The plants grow to impossible
heights, reaching many feet above your head.  In the distance you can see
the plants moving and swaying as creatures push their way through the
plants.  The garden continues to the west and south, while a doorway leads
to the east.  
A vicious-looking scarecrow has animated and targeted you.
