You stride boldly forth into a dank and shadowy hallway.  Sinister black
shapes flutter and slither along the walls and ceiling in torchlight that
seems to come from nowhere.  Your feet are utterly silent as you step on the
cold, hard stone.  The cobwebs hang loosely on the walls and dangle from the
ceiling, creating ghastly faces which howl at you, sending chills up your
spine.  To the west, you see a doorway which leads into an unknown room. 
East returns you to the foyer.
