The east end of this infinitely dark cavern curves sharply north and the
west grows lager as it is approached.  Currents through here drag bits of
gravel and chips of once finely crafted mosaics through depositing them on
the every rising floor.  A smell of sulfur hitches a ride with the debris
and permeates the surroundings.
