A network of freshly carved tunnels runs coarsely through the walls of
this cavern.  The intense heat from the underbelly of the northern volcano
causes beads of sweat to form on skin in spite of the fact that the entire
area is submerged deep under water.  Guards howl at slaves to continue
digging until they collapse from exhaustion then have a freshly rested slave
drag the body off and take its place.  The cacophony of tamping tools is
excruciating to the ears to the point of causing deafness.  
A salamander slave master laughs cruelly at his suplicant's misery.
