Almost all the trees here have been burned clean of almost all the
branches and leaves.  Even despite the fire many of the solid trunks remain
standing creating an eerie tombstone for the apparent death of wildlife. 
The fire was greatly contained for the scorched land doesn't stretch far
before more greenery can be seen.  The ogre town the southeast seems to be
mostly unscathed.
